Friday, May 19th

10:00am. Guest Speaker: Edouard Duval-Carrie

11:00am. Panel Discussion: Where is Haitian Art Going ? What does the future hold for collectors and scholars? Panelists include Bob Brictson, Kay Heller, Beverly Sullivan, Myriam Nader, Bill Bollendorf, Kent Shankle, and Edouard Duval-Carrie.

2) Lunch may be obtained at local restaurants;

3) 2:00-6:00pm Cocktail Reception at the GALERIE D’ART NADER in Coral Gables at 1911 Ponce de Leon Blvd. [phone: 305-444-1740 and map on their website at www.galeriedartnader.com/about_us.htm ] Afternoon opportunities to visit Haitian art galleries in Miami-Coral Gables area, with list of galleries to be visited provided at the symposium session.

Saturday, May 20th

1) 8:30am – 5pm All day bus tour north of Miami — Note: the bus departs promptly at 8:30am from the Bass Museum of Art in Miami Beach and will return there at 5pm. Sunday, May 21st

1) 11:00am – Visit to the studio of artist Edouard Duval-Carrie. There will be a luncheon for HAS members at 12:30, in Coral Gables hosted by Terry and Yossi Granot, with further information to be provided at the opening symposium on Friday.
