AVENTURA HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL CENTER EXPANDS CENTER FOR CARDIAC AND VASCULAR MEDICINE AND CELEBRATES TWO YEAR ANNIVERSTAY OF OPEN HEART PROGRAM
WHO/WHAT: Aventura Hospital and Medical Center, CEO Heather J. Rohan will be joined by Board of Trustees, community leaders, patients, hospital employees and physicians to conduct a ribbon-cutting ceremony of Aventura Hospital and Medical Center’s expansion of the Center for Cardiac and Vascular Medicine, with a renovated 10,000 square feet and a total of four brand new cardiac catheterization labs to continue growing the cardiovascular service line.
The cardiologists at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center will be utilizing the GE Innova 2100, all-digital cardiovascular imaging system that will assists in better viewing and treatment of coronary artery blockages that could cause heart attacks or other serious cardiovascular damage.
This revolutionary system allows cardiologists to view hard-to-see blood vessels with exceptional clarity under even the most difficult conditions. Aventura Hospital and Medical Center is the only facility in Miami-Dade County that currently has the GE Innova 2100 in operation.
In addition, Aventura Hospital will also be celebrating the two-year anniversary of its open heart program.
